Semarang-tp.fpp.undip.ac.id – Dearesta, a master’s student in animal science at the Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences (FPP) at Diponegoro University (UNDIP), has garnered significant attention from both professors and fellow students with her innovative betel soap. The soap, crafted from goat milk, boasts substantial benefits for skin health and addresses a gap in current skincare products. Betel itself is renowned for its antibacterial properties, and the combination of these two ingredients results in a product that not only enhances skin beauty but also provides antibacterial protection.

This breakthrough was presented during a research seminar attended by supervising and examining professors, along with fellow master’s students in animal science. Dearesta’s research has been guided by a dynamic duo of program heads, the head of the Animal Science program and the head of the Food Technology program. This collaboration exemplifies a comprehensive approach to research, bringing together expertise from both fields to create an innovative and impactful product.
