Dean of the Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences Diponegoro University, Prof. Dr. Ir. Bambang Waluyo Hadi Eko Prasetiyono, M.S., M.Agr., IPU expresses his gladness for the outstanding achievements of the Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Science Diponegoro University this year. 3 (three) study programs in the Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences Diponegoro University Managed to Achieve International Accreditation, it could not be separated from the support given by all the academic community. According to him, all the study programs were already excellently accredited. International student, student exchange, intensive research and community service conducted by the lecturers, down streaming of research results, and the complete infrastructure and the addition of ASIIN accreditation which was successfully achieved by the 3 study programs of the Faculty of Animal and Agricultural in 2022 has supported this achievement.
Edi Prayitno, S.Pt., M.Si as a lecturer in the Animal Sciences Degree Program delivered his response after the ASIIN accreditation was given to the Animal Husbandry Undergraduate Study Program. “Alhamdulillah, Animal Sciences Degree Program got ASIIN accreditation this year (2022). That was a great beginning. Hopefully, this ASIIN accreditation could be valuable for Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences Diponegoro University graduates because they get international recognition,” he said.
ASIIN international accreditation visits to the three study programs were held online on January 24-26, 2022. Five assessors from Germany and Indonesia held the visit. They are Prof. Dr. Thomas John from the University of Applied Sciences Neubrandenburg, Prof. Dr. Benrnhard Hiebl from the University of Hannover, Prof. Dr. Sonja Kleinertz from the University of Rostock, Almansyah Sinatrya from the Industry Representative and Cindy Septiany from the Student Representative. The three-day visitation began with an internal meeting with the ASIIN assessors. On the second day, each program study presentating they excellence and introducing the academic community consisting of deans, departments, and study programs. On the last day, the visitation ended with presentations from students from each study program.
