Javanese Gastronomy Summer Course Program

Summer Course Program on Javanese Gastronomy 2024 is a program from Bachelor of Food Technology, Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences, Universitas Diponegoro, Indonesia to deliver knowledge about Javanese Culture and Culinary for university students studying in any major. This course will be held for 9 day starting from September 14 to 22nd 2024. Various culinaries from Java island as well as the experience on its taste will be delivered from expert and scientist. Foreign speakers may also provide their experience to discuss and talk about the overseas tradition.

This summer course will be held in Universitas Diponegoro in Semarang and related city near by campus. The overview of program can be seen at the following lists:

Day 1
Welcome ceremony and campus tour

Day 2
Javanese culture overview and practice

Day 3
Javanese culinary overview, practice, and local capture

Day 3
Javanese culinary: creativity and trending challenge

Day 4

Javanese geo-related culinary capture : history and movement

Day 5
Attraction from participants and farewell party

Day 6 to end of session will be conducted using social media.

This tentative schedule may be adapted to achieve the summer course goals. A more detailed schedule will be announced later.
