Semarang-tp.fpp.undip.ac.id – The Food Technology Program at Diponegoro University once again showcases its outstanding innovation through the launch of a new product, a yogurt variant from the Wheyfy series. This product is the result of collaboration between the Food Technology Program at UNDIP and PT Tronti Indonesia, which is currently developing dairy-based product innovations.
The launch of Wheyfy yogurt is part of a research downstreaming program fully supported by the UNDIP Directorate of Innovation. Dian Harjanti, PhD, Director of the UNDIP Directorate of Innovation, stated that they always strive to fully assist UNDIP researchers in achieving their research downstreaming targets. This support is expected to enhance the competitiveness of research-based products in both national and international markets.
This collaboration is spearheaded by the Head of the Food Technology Study Program at the Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences (FPP) UNDIP, Al-Baarri, PhD, who also holds the patent for the Wheyfy product along with his team. He added that the collaboration with PT Tronti Indonesia not only accelerates the research downstreaming process but also opens new opportunities for the development of other innovative products.
Wheyfy yogurt is expected to become a flagship product capable of competing in the market and becoming a source of pride for the Food Technology Program at FPP UNDIP. With the introduction of this product, UNDIP demonstrates its commitment to producing innovations that benefit both the community and the industry.
